Not too long ago I worked as a system administrator at the Institute for Global Communications that helps non-profits and grassroots groups use computers to work for peace, social justice, and sustainability. Often I volunteer with the Buddhist Peace Fellowship, and sometimes with the Alternatives to Violence Project, a grassroots group that does workshops with prison inmates. Visit the local group's web page at Bay Area AVP. For more details on my computer background, here's my resume.
