Book Loan Office Information – Spring 2010

To Students: If you want to borrow textbooks for the semester, please visit the Book Loan Office to check if the book you are looking for is available. Here is some important information you will need to be able to borrow books:

1. The Book Loan Room is located in Student Union 104-B, next to the cafe.  The listing of available books is posted outside the office. Their Fall 2010 semester hours are:

August 12, at 9:30 AM they will begin serving ALL students. (The week before classes is for students receiving aid)

2. Students should be ready to show the following:

1. the title of the book AND the last name of the book's author
2. a CCSF student ID, or a photo ID along with proof of enrollment (A CCSF ID card is preferred over a state license or passport.)
3. proof of enrollment in an ESL class (their class schedule)
4. FOR FINANCIAL-AID RECIPIENTS ONLY: a copy of the student's financial-aid reward statement (Pell Grant, BOGG Fee Waiver, and EOPS students).
5. FOR AB540 STUDENTS: Please bring proof of AB540 status. (This status should show on a student's account summary online.)

NOTE:  In general, the bookloan office has 2 copies of textbooks for each course.  If you want a book, go to the bookloan office early, or they might not have the book that you need.
