City College of San Francisco's Engineering Club
*FALL 2012 END OF YEAR UPDATE*
So far the Engineering Club successfully participated in the Take Flight for Kids Event in San Jose and the Bay Area Science Festival!! Videos are forthcoming.
There are only two goals for the Spring semester 1) Beat UPIITA-IPN at Robogames and 2) Finish the helicopter launcher for The Maker Faire.
So, please enroll in ENGN 48L and participate in the Engineering Club. We will be rolling with Arduinos out of the starting gate...
History:
The Engineering Club has been in existence since 2005. We exist because we like to build things, we like to participate in engineering themed events, and we like pizza.
2011-2012 was a blast! Unfortunately, the Take Flight for Kids Event in San Jose was cancelled, but we took the launcher to the Bay Area Science Festival.
Subsequently, we were then invited to the Mythbusters Expo at Dublin H.S.
In the Spring, it was Robogames time once again!
For 2012-2013, Take Flight for Kids is green lit again, and we are definitely preparing early for Robogames and the Maker Faire 2013 is also a given.
Oh, did I mention the fantastic t-shirts?
Main meetings Fall 2012 are Tuesdays 4:30-7:30 in SCIE 049.
