Presentation #1 - Presenting Survey Results

You will work with a group of students to:
  1. choose a topic of interest to the whole class
  2. make a list of questions related to that topic, which you will use to survey the class
  3. conduct the survey among your classmates
  4. organize the collected information
  5. prepare charts and graphs
  6. present the survey results to the whole class

  2. decide on appropriate interview questions and the specific focus of the interview
  3. arrange an appointment for the interview

In a small group, you will:
  1. choose a general topic you are interested in and would like to research.
  2. discuss your topic with your group to narrow down the focus

Final Presentation - Arguing Your Point of View

In a small group, you will:
  1. choose a controversial issue
  2. narrow down the focus and decide which side you will argue on
  3. assign research areas for each group member
  4. do the research
  5. prepare visual aids
  6. present your argument to the class
