The orientation is OPTIONAL, but I strongly recommend that you attend. If you are unable to attend, please go through the online orientation and the course FAQ pages.
WHERE: In the Language Center Classroom, (R-205) located on the second floor of the Rosenberg Library at City College of San Francisco, on the Phelan Campus, 50 Phelan Avenue.
Nearby MUNI routes include: the 43, 36, 29, 15, 54, M, and K. Nearest BART station is Balboa Park.
DATE & TIME: Tuesday, January 18, 2011, 4:30-6:00 p.m. Please arrive on time! (We know this is not convenient for those who work, but the library building now closes at 6:30 p.m.)
WHAT: This orientation will show you:
- how to access the Moodle/Insight platform to access your course
- how to use the Wimba Voice Tools
- an overview of the course content
- what will be expected of you as an online student
We will also get started speaking French as we get to know each other.
Time will be set aside for your questions and we will all have a chance to meet each other. A bientôt!
