I will be teaching one section of CS 111C online in the Spring of 2011
If you want to take the course:
- Read the course procedures and syllabus
- Register for the course. If you have not
earned a C or better grade in CS 111B, you must pass a
prerequisite challenge
exam before you'll be allowed to register in CS 111C.
- Put the following mandatory in-person meeting in your calendar:
Mandatory In-Person Final Exam: Thursday May 26 7-9pm, location to be announced, Ocean/Phelan Campus
If you cannot take the exam when scheduled, e-mail me a week or two in advance to make
alternative arrangements.
- Buy the textbook:

- Read the Insight
System Requirements
to learn what browser, etc. you will need for this online course. We won't be using any multimedia tools;
just your web browser and a compiler (javac on hills, or the java compiler of your choice).
- After January 18 you'll be able to login to Insight and get started. Please do so no later than January
21. Read the
Insight
Student Quick Start Guide
to learn how to login. You'll receive an e-mail around January 18 explaining how to login.
Make sure to login
to your CCSFmail account regularly - it's the only place you'll receive e-mail for this and other CCSF
courses. Click here for more info about this change and here is the FAQ for the CCSFmail Account
