The word of the day comes from Mirriam Webster. Pressing the wotd
button invokes a Perl CGI script which goes to the Miriam Webster
site, extracts the wotd from their site and packages it in a nifty
cold steel blue box.

Haiku is an exciting word game. You, the player, will slide
tiles around the board and try to discover, and write out,
the hidden haiku.
The Haiku game begins in 'auto-play' mode with the tiles sliding
happily about the game board. Many players prefer to always play
Haiku in 'auto-play' mode. More adventuresome players move on
to 'user-play' mode.
